Dale Lutes is one of the Committee’s newest members. With an educational background in social work, he was a manager and director in the social service field for 42 years before retiring. Most recently, he was the Director of Programming at The John Howard Society of the Lower Mainland.
Dale’s expertise is in mental health, community living, corrections, and child welfare. He has experience in policy development, grant-writing, accreditation, human resources, and working with labour/management and occupational health & safety committees.
Dale was born in New Brunswick and is the youngest of nine children. He has donated his time to many boards and committees and is passionate about ensuring that seniors are heard, remain engaged in their communities, and enjoy a good quality of life. In his spare time, Dale enjoys staying fit and active.
